Bradshaw Hits 200 Mark

Harvard - Head coach Bob Bradshaw had to be feeling a little bit of dejavu Friday night as he walked on to the field at Harvard High School for his game against the Hornets and it might have had something to do with the fact that his first game as a head coach was an away game against Harvard.

Bradshaw started coaching 41 years ago and has been a head coach for 36. First with Woodstock (H.S.), which he lead to a 4A Championship in 1983, with his son & former Northwestern star, Greg Bradshaw, at quarterback. He then went on to coach at Johnsburg in 1995.

With Friday nights victory over Harvard coach Bradshaw becomes the 20th coach in Illinois history to join the 200 club. He's also was elected into the Illinois High School Football Coaches' Hall of Fame. He also graduated from Mendota & attended college at North Central.

IHSFW.com has unconfirmed reports that Bradshaw, who's 63 years young, will retire after this season.
