DeLaSalle, CA. 151 Game Winning Streak Snapped Seattle, WA. (Qwest Stadium) - For those of you Illinois high school fans who realize that football happens outside our state, it may be no news to you that California's DeLaSalle in Concord, has lost it's first game Saturday in 12 years. DeLaSalle was handed an unquestionable loss at the hands of 2003 Washington State Champs Bellevue High, 39-20 before a crowd of 25,000. Which is close to the record for attendance at a Washington State High School game. While some have scoffed at the record, because California does not have a playoff system forcing a loss on all teams that were not state champions, one must still marvel at the record of 151 victories in a row. Facts about the streak; (some information from National H.S. Football Record Book) by Vincent Johnson
