Fermon, Gocken Power Buffs Win

Georgetown - John Fermon (RB 6'2 220 sr.) & John Gocken (WR 6' 185 sr.) did all the scoring for the Buffalos Friday night as GRHS advanced to the second round of the 2A playoffs.

Fermon rumbled and ran over Blue Devil defensive players several times as he scored the first 3 touchdowns of the game for Georgetown on runs of 4, 4 & 9, to help give them a 21-0 half time lead. His 9 yard TD was set up by a fumble recovery he made around midfield.

Gocken took over in the second half as Andrew Pratt (QB 5'10 170 sr.) aired it out and the speedy wideout broke away from his defenders to score twice on 47 & 50 yard receptions.
