Bulldogs Rebound, Pringle Sets School Rushing Record

Carmi, IL - (Evers Field) 10-12-01, A packed house at Evers Field, tonight saw the Carmi - White County Bulldogs rebound from the lopsided lost to Mt. Carmel by whipping up on the hapless Olney Tigers 34 - 0 and securing its third straight playoff birth.

The Bulldog defense held the Tigers to only 3 yards rushing and 32 total yards while rushing for 282 yards, including 86 from Senior Brandon Pringle as he set a new school rushing record with 2,201. Junior, Steven Smith rushed for 121 yards and Senior Alex Puckett caught for passes for 58 yards.

The Bulldogs (5-3, 4-1) finish the regular season next week at home with Christopher.
