Dolphins Score First, Mather Scores Last

Chicago (Winnemac Stadium) - The Whitney Young Dolphins took their opening posession and marched right down the field for a touchdown when Deron Leslie hit Walter Riley for a 22-yard touchdown. Unfortunately, that was the only score for the Dolphins on the day as the Rangers turned two of the Dolphins 4 turnovers into 14 points to hold off the Dolphins 14-6.

Bab Taylor provided the winning score in the third period with a 37-yard scamper off of an option play and the Ranger defense did the rest holding team rushing leader Jordan McCord to under 100 yards, the second straight week that McCord did not crack the century mark.

The Dolphins face another tough test when they host Lane Tech at Hanson Stadium next Friday.
