Welcome Tiger Fans (8/12/2006)
2006 starts the first varsity football season for the North Tigers and the inaugural season for the Southwest Prairie Conference.
Led by head coach Dan Darlington who ran one of the top programs in the state while at Morris from 1977-2004. Darlington compiled a 264-55 record with 2 State Titles in 7 appearances, including the 13-0 Redskin team of 1984.
The Redskins under Darlington failed to make the playoffs just 6 times in 28 years. Finishing only one season below five hundred, Darlington most likely would have taken all but one team to the playoffs had the 8 Class playoff system been in place since he started.
