McBride Sets 2 School Records In Win
Troy - Shane McBride rushed for a 143 yards on 12 carries and 3 TDs as the Trojans of Triad walked off with an easy victory on the night of September 10th, 48-7 over non conference opponentMt. Vernon1-2.
While McBrides 143 yards may not qualify him in the leading rushers for the weekend, it was enough to put him over the top on Triad's record books as he became the schools all time leading rushers with 2,414 yards for his career.
McBride also set a school record for the longest field goal, with a 47 yarder that same night. McBride would go on to break his own record in Triad's week 4 game against Waterloo with a 51 yard field goal.
