Soph. Foster's 4 TD's To Much For Mustangs Oak Lawn (Richards) - Talent and speed rich Morgan Park was unable to overcome some early mistakes along with Richards' soph. phenome Dion Foster as the Mustangs fell to the Bulldogs 35-28 Friday night in Oak Lawn. The Mustangs found themselves in hot water right off the bat. After going nowhere on their first series, Larmon Cummings (LB) blocked the punt setting up Richards deep in Morgan Park territory. The Mustangs held composure and stopped Richards on the next three plays, but as Morgan Park drew a pass interference call on 4th & 8 when Richards went for it. Dion Foster would get his first of 4 TDs on a 5 yrd run that would end up accumulating 195 yards on the ground. Foster who got a little help behind a line that's anchored by 6'5" 310 All-American Mike Jones, along with Eric Schreiber, 6'3" 282, Paul Lindsey, 6'3" 240, & Matt Dugan, 6'1" 230. Junior QB Sean Lewis would had a good night also connecting to 6'6" 195 WR Mike Dragosavich & Jermaine Jackson for some big plays. One of which was a 25 yard TD to Jackson in the third. Mustangs' junior QB Andre Moore (who's playing for injured Andre Dawning) had a few shining moments amidst some incomplete passes & an 2 interceptions. He connected with Brandon Bradbury (WR) for touchdown passes of 19 & 22. Cinque Chapman ran off a 34 yard burst for a TD & Pierre Sims showed off his speed with a stunning 90 yard kick return TD. Morgan Park junior LB Bryon Miles recorded a number of tackles & QB pressures as well as 2 sacks &, a fumble recovery. Nicholas Sykes of Richards was in the face of the Mustang offense on the other side of the field throughout the game.
