4. (4) Springfield (S.H.G.) (6-0), 31-13 overChatham (Glenwood)4-2, Cyclones lined up for a big show down with Taylorville to determine dominacen in theCentral State Eight.
5. (6) Mundelein (Carmel) (6-0), 49-13 over Chicago (Marist) 2-4, Corsairs offense can't be stopped.
6. (7) Normal (Community) (6-0), 14-7 over Normal (Community West) 4-2, Cross town rivals give Ironmen a close game. NC has only allowed 22 poinst all season.
7. (5) Edwardsville (H.S.)(5-1), 17-14 loss to Alton (Sr.) (5-1), Tigers first loss of the season comes earlier than some thought, as Redbirds show they are a top team in the state.
8. (8) Libertyville (6-0), 24-6 over Zion (Z.-Benton) (0-6), Libertyville was only up 10-0 at half, before putting up 14 in the third.
9. (9) Cary (C.-Grove)(6-0), 56-7 overCarpentersville (Dundee-Crown)0-6, Trojans may be a bit underated in teh BIG 30.
10. (10) Naperville (North) (4-2),34-20 loss to #2Wheaton (W. Warrenville South)(6-0), Huskies two losses come from #8 Libertyville & #2 Wheaton-Warrenville South.
11. (11) Mt. Prospect (Prospect) (5-1),24-2 over Rolling Meadows 4-2
12. (13) Naperville (Neuqua Valley) (5-1), 25-6 overAurora (Waubonsie Valley)0-6
